Based in Birmingham, Type are an organization that according to their website research, write, lecture and teach typography. They also dabble in a bit of professional practice as typographers and designers respectively.
Type worked with the Birmingham Post to create a set of double page spreads that raised the awareness of creative news prints. The project coincided with the Plus International Design Festival in Birmingham during the 5th - 8th November 2008 and up until now I didn't know existed which I'm sure will come in handy.
