Restraint

Restraint is a typeface designed by Marian Bantjes. "The font contains the 26 letters of the alphabet, numbers, a hyphen, an ampersand and a question mark, plus a whole ton of squiggly bits for making fantastic shapes and borders. Simply masses of entertainment value" (Marian Bantjes, 2007).

What I find strange about this font is the terms and conditions which mean if you buy this font ($45) you cannot use it as the sole or major design element in identities, major ad campaigns, or use it to manufacture products for sale. So why exactly would you buy a font that you cannot use?

Having said that I am in ore of this font, it seems to possess a modern twist to what looks like a gothic typeface.
